TriVEX
TriVEX is polycarbonate plastic produced by Trivalence Technologies that are used in applications requiring high impact resistance and require transparency. The raw material allows the transmission of light at near the same capacity as glass. Trivex is often an alternative to glass and is used in eyewear plastic lenses, in medical devices, automotive components, protective gear, greenhouses, Digital media (CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray), and exterior lighting fixtures. Polycarbonate has good heat resistance and can be combined with flame retardant materials without significant material degradation.
